About
Aleks is a seasoned retail executive and leader with broad experience across finance, property, strategy, data science, risk and compliance as well as global sourcing and domestic and international supply chain strategy and management. Aleks became Managing Director, Kmart Group in April 2025 and assumed the responsibility for leading the Kmart Group division (encompassing Kmart & Target Australia and Anko). Since joining Kmart Group in 2020, Aleks has been instrumental in the development and execution of its strategic agenda across Australia and New Zealand as well as international markets. Prior to Kmart Group, Aleks held several senior roles within Wesfarmers. Aleks has a Bachelor of Commerce and PhD from the University of Western Australia.
