About
I am a trained lawyer who has dedicated his career to leading transformative processes in the education sector. I have held senior leadership roles in high-impact institutions, where I have applied my skills in strategic vision, team leadership, and project management through close, hands-on guidance focused on stimulating and mobilizing collective intelligence. I enjoy turning ideas into reality through a systemic, analytical, and practical approach. As Vice-President for Transformation at CESA (Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración), I led the launch of a strategic process composed of vision-driven, mission-focused, and administrative initiatives. Key achievements of the team included the design of a new philanthropy strategy, the promotion of marketing initiatives that increased enrollment at both undergraduate and graduate levels, the optimization of administrative processes to improve sustainability, and the diversification of income streams. During my years at Gimnasio Campestre—and particularly during the time I had the honor of serving as its Headmaster—I led a high-performing team that strengthened an educational project with over 75 years of history. Together, we advanced the implementation of a cutting-edge pedagogical model, launched an Advanced Placement course portfolio, obtained international accreditation under NEASC’s ACE Learning framework, among other accomplishments. I also contributed to the design and implementation of infrastructure projects as part of the second phase of the school’s Physical Master Plan. For three years, I served on the Board of Directors of Colsubsidio, where I supported decisions and projects that impact the education and well-being of over 2 million members—who in 2024 alone received benefits exceeding 1.2 trillion Colombian pesos. I am currently part of the consulting team at EdLatam Alliance, a firm focused on advising educational institutions interested in shaping their medium- and long-term vision by exploring the opportunities that come from a sound understanding of technology in education. I also serve as one of nine members of the NEASC Commission on International Education, where I support and oversee evaluation and accreditation processes for K–12 schools in various countries around the world. I believe in rigorous, high-quality, human-centered education committed to developing leaders who are ethical, competent, and aware of their responsibilities as citizens.

Bogotá, Bogotá D.C, Colombia
As Head of School, I was responsible for the strategic direction of the school and the effective execution of its educational project. We designed and launched the second phase of the model, introducing a new curriculum grounded in inter- and transdisciplinary approaches. I supported internal monitoring and the coordination of the Executive Committee’s work with other relevant areas. I also met with parents to address specific academic or disciplinary matters, served as Secretary of the School Climate and Coexistence Committee, and led the coordination of accreditation processes with the two international organizations that evaluate the school’s programs.

Accreditation Coordinator
Bogotá, D.C, Colombia.
As Accreditation Coordinator, I led the school’s initial application process before two of the most prestigious international agencies: NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and CIS (Council of International Schools). The process concluded with Gimnasio Campestre being granted dual international accreditation, along with special recognition from the accrediting team for the self-study process led by the school’s leadership team and the broader community.
