Built and maintained HIPAA-compliant production infrastructure serving 11 healthcare provider clients: 103 REST API endpoints, 23 database tables, and 7 production subdomains across a full-stack TypeScript/Node.js system with CI/CD pipelines. Developed an ML pipeline on $5M+ in claims data performing denial classification and pattern analysis in order to surface the root causes of claim denials and actionable revenue recovery recommendations for providers.

Collaborated as a full-stack engineer on repairs, updates, and maintenance of the startup’s website. Spearheaded creation of a promotional video for the startup’s new educational technology. Wrote a blog on marginalized communities and their relationship with the healthcare system.

Following my first-year at Brown University, the summer of 2022 marked my return to MediaBreeze as a Junior Software Developer. During this stint of my time, I have been involved with handling coding of character dialog system in C#, player animations related to combat, and research of thematic elements related to plastic pollution and climate change.

As someone who enjoys playing in my free time, I recognize video games can be a powerful platform to convey messages or themes. Therefore, the MediaBreeze video game development internship aligned very well with my interests. I worked on a mobile game that is in development. The objective of the game is to spread awareness about protecting the environment. During gameplay, players will learn about dangers of excessive waste, and the negative impacts technology can have on the environment. By participating in weekly team meetings, I was able to gain insight on many facets of game development from initial brainstorming, to character modeling, to stage building. The experience was extremely valuable. I learned how to navigate a large group discussion and how to come to a consensus from the different opinions expressed in a large group. I will apply the skills in creative ways in the future.
