During my tenure in this seasonal leadership role, I oversaw and supported daily operations across multiple retail tax offices throughout the tax season. I served as the primary onsite leader and point of contact for both clients and associates, directing front desk operations, managing scheduling, and leading daily huddles to communicate performance metrics and operational priorities. Through hands-on leadership and real-time problem-solving, I drove workflow efficiency, reinforced service standards, and supported associates in delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across all assigned locations.

First official teaching position held with Appalachian State University for MAT 1020 (college algebra).

Began teaching in a college setting as a co-teacher under the direction of Mrs. Tiffany Williams at Appalachian State University.

During my time working as a Teaching Assistant, I have been helping to develop the online tools and resources for the ASU Math Department's new textbooks coming Fall 2024. We have been working with the Edfinity team to assemble the course and implement their AI adaptive learning models to help on-board future teachers and professors that will be working with this software and textbook at appstate.

This internship experience that allowed me to work on developing my actual experience as a teacher. This classroom setting took place at a local public high school teaching a Pre-Calculus class along side an amazing mentor. During this time, I worked on my edTPA certification will performing necessary duties expected of a newly interning teacher.

During my time as an undergraduate at Appstate, I worked at the tutoring center. I helped both online and in person at different times to support a wide range of students. Classes I tutored include: MAT 1010 (Introduction to Mathematics), MAT 1020 (College Algebra with Applications), MAT 1025 (Precalculus), MAT 1030 (Calculus with Business Applications), MAT 1110 (Calculus with Analytical Geometry I), MAT 1120 (Calculus with Analytical Geometry II), and MAT 2130 (Calculus with Analytical Geometry III).
