Head of Mechanical Systems @ Seadrill

About

I am a dedicated reliability focused mechanical and marine engineering manager with an extensive industrial and academic background. Through the course of my global career I have developed a strong focus on machine reliability and asset integrity. In my current role as department head I lead two teams of subject matter experts responsible for drilling and marine mechanical systems and asset reliability. My department provides direct fleet support, asset integrity inspection and industry leading asset management solutions leveraging internally developed data analytics. My most recent achievements include establishing the global maintenance philosophy for Seadrill drilling equipment and building the company asset lifecycle management program (ALCM). This program developed a company Prognostics and Health Management solution using Machine Learning and advanced data analytics. The ALCM program has led to the certification of Seadrill Technical Services as an ABS Recognized Service Supplier for Condition monitoring. This is the first time an ABS operator has been certified for operation of a standalone condition monitoring program.
