Corporate Technical Services East Provide direct technical support to Seadrill rig teams in the Eastern Hemisphere. Optimize maintenance on drilling and pipe handling equipment to reduce operating costs with maximum up time and safe operation. Standardize fleet drilling and pipe handling equipment maintenance to ensure correct maintenance is completed globally. Evaluate equipment incidents to identify root cause of failure and develop SMART actions to prevent future recurrence. Evaluate use of reliability and condition centred maintenance on drilling equipment and develop cost effective solutions to reduce excessive fleet maintenance. Complete technical inspections of assets.

Corporate Operations Excellence Excellence Map global requirements for shared capital equipment including long range planning to support the expanding fleet. Provide purchace planning and justification for equipment aquisition to support global requirements for special survey requirement and contingency. Provide a focal point for equipment requests internally and vendor communication on global technical issues. Identify common failure points on equipment and communicate with vendors for improvements to extend equipment life and improve quality of the supplied product. Audit storage facilities and units for equipment condition and additional maitenance requirements. Produce regular status reports for corporate management and fleet communication

CBM Maintenance Manager Corporate Operations Excellence Excellence Act as a solely responsible person for the thrusters in the capital spares pool, overseeing the maintenance, storage and preservation of the units. Follow the overhaul process and ensure all tests and critical stages in the rebuild process are witnessed by experienced Seadrill personnel. Coordinate all the aspects for and effective CBM program for thrusters on Seadrill deepwater assets which will include but not be limited to ensuring class CM notations, vibration monitoring and the lubricating oil analysis program's full implementation and full interaction with SAMS Follow up of overhauls and planned maintenance for spare thrusters units in the capital pool and ensure the equipment is available. Auditing storage facilities and units. Produce regular status reports for corporate management

The ERO is Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the unit’s main machinery. Responsibilities Monitor the power plants controls and power distribution and consumption. Perform troubleshooting, problem solving and plan activities to prevent problems from occurring with the power plant, propulsion plant and auxiliary equipment on the vessel. This will include the sewage treatment plant, HVAC, potable water, pneumatic systems, etc Operate, maintain and repair as necessary the engine cooling water system, lube oil system, and fuel system Ensure that the permit to work and isolation systems are strictly adhered Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and special projects involving the power plant and propulsion system on board the drilling vessel to prevent down time and to ensure the efficient and continual functioning of the vessel Carry out maintenance according to the Company Maintenance Management System guidelines Ensure that reports for the repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete Instruct, train, direct and supervise Motorman Liaise with the marine department regarding the loading, ordering and use of fuel, potable water and drill water Perform daily inspections and planned maintenance Maintain main engine log recording daily consumption Mentor, develop and train crew members to ensure they are competent to work in their current job positions and where appropriate coached and prepared for the next position Ensure that approved rig operating procedures are adhered to at all times. Report all unsafe activities, situations, and potential hazards to supervisor Actively participate in weekly rig and departmental safety meetings and the Safety Management Systems Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates. Recommend promotion, development or disciplinary action Effectively use all safety and environmental tools employed by Seadrill Perform all emergency duties as per designation on the station bill

Worked in Various roles including Senior Watchkeeper, Engineroom Maintenance Manager, Projects Engineer, and HESS (HSE) Engineer. Also Previously as a junior watchkeeper, Assistant EMM, and Assistant Facility(Hotel) Engineer. Giving a strong all round back ground in ships systems both within the engineroom and the accommodation/hotel spaces. Responsible for Maintenance to all systems onboard at varies intervals and at times working independently as additional manning to combat ongoing long term problems with ships systems including mechanical and automation faults.
