About
After graduation I balanced my time between my passions for art and teaching. A self-taught musician I spent the next decade performing music, freelancing as a photographer, teaching special education, recording albums, teaching guitar, selling art, and traveling as much as possible. In 2006 I created my "Art Program" as a way to supplement the suffering art culture in the financially burdened elementary schools in my home town of Lockport, NY. Since then, my "Art Program" has expanded into a platform for corporate team building and a therapeutic tool for people of all ages. It encourages integrated classrooms and is taught in Adult Living Facilities, Art Institutions, Community Centers, Public Schools and currently at NCCC with in the Liberty Kids Program.

My "Art Program" began in 2006 at Roy B. Kelley Elementary in Molly Koelle's kindergarten class. Instructing integrated classrooms in drawing and painting, in tandem with music and games, through collaborative lessons that result in large scale murals. Teaching fundamental art techniques, art history, vocabulary, and the elements of design and composition.

I received my BFA in Photography in 1996 from the Cleveland Institute of Art at Case Western Reserve University. Graduating with a strong emphasis in illustration. I engaged in every art form offered to me at CIA's intensive program: lithography, wood carving, sculpture, ceramics, glass blowing, metallurgy, painting... I even developed a style of non-encaustic wax drawings. CIA surrounded me with the best artistic minds in the country. This fueled my passion for art and has continued throughout my career.
