Found a new vendor to help cut manufacturing costs. Oversaw truck driver’s work and training assignments. Ensured drivers maintained budgeted loop times on their deliveries. Negotiated rates with new haulers to increase proficiency and workload. Developed the dispatch program and oversaw the implementation of new software both internally and externally to provide a seamless end to end data integration across the company, customers, and vendors. Assessed invoices from our haulers to confirm accuracy. Assessed loop times of hauls to accurately schedule trucks based on tonnages ordered. Analyzed hauling costs as well as haul distances to help our VP better estimate monthly expenditures and per ton rates.

Oversaw truck driver’s work and training assignments. Ensured drivers maintained budgeted loop times on their deliveries. Received a high volume of inbound calls and supported customers with appropriate quantity of trucks and truck types. In addition, approved and denied time off requests for all drivers. Managed an average of 100 employees and an average of 30 contracted sub-haulers.

Oversaw an array of financial functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll, and invoice management. Verify costs and collate them into a single invoice for clients. Insert invoices into a third-party system for further cost verifications and to enable clients to quickly dispute any arising charges. Utilize innovative software, such as QuickBooks, Gusto, Intuit, Manage Payroll, Paychex, ADP Workforce, and ADP Pay Expert to add employees, modify profiles, and terminate. Monitor and analyze key information to ensure consummate accuracy. In addition, review customer submitted ticket and resolve various questions and concerns.

Held concurrent responsibility for complying with county and state regulations while maintaining digital records of material amounts, truck identities, and weight certificate issuance. Served as a trainer, guiding new hires through various applications, policies, and procedures. Received a high volume of inbound calls and supported customers with selecting appropriate aggregate materials for numerous construction jobs. In addition, assisted the credit department by maintaining records for reconciliations.
