Managing the transmission grid connection project design phase of renewables power plants. Supporting renewables companies in country specific legal and technical regulations for power plant connection to transmission grid

Infrastructure project sales, optical fibre communication networks installation project sales. Strategy, analysis and bid management in European, specifically German, export markets of LEC and LEC Construction International GmbH.

Initiated, renewed and set up regulations for centralized and decentralized procurement procedure in energy and telecommunication construction sector. Coordinated project managers to select subcontractors in complex matrix organizational structure. Selected alternative suppliers and ensured purchase and lease contracts for special machinery from local and European suppliers.

Worked for a consortium “LEC, RECK un Empower” and managed procurement of materials for overhead 110/330 kV powerline Kurzemes loks (Kurzeme Ring) final stage, 207 km, total project volume 110 mio EUR. Organized international tenders and negotiated contract conditions with suppliers in a range of 20 mio EUR. Managed international supplies, including from Turkey and India, and logistics via external transport company. Ensured factory acceptance tests complying with design and ensured external quality tests. Coordinated site and warehouse managers of several companies.

Investigated business opportunities in Scandinavia, negotiated contracts for first substation electrical installation projects and frame agreements with eventual customers. Managed Sellihca qualification system and new company webpage. As a team member participated in finding business opportunities and solving insurance issues for broadband optical network projects in Germany.

Managed design of towers and procurement for overhead 110/330 kV powerline, Kurzemes loks (Kurzeme Ring) 118 km, total project volume 53 mio EUR, first in Latvia fully complying to European norms and standards. Set up tasks for international team of designers (Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Poland). Managed customer relationships. Prepared international tender technical and commercial documentation for procurement of powerline materials and negotiated supply contracts. Led project implementation related to supply, logistics and warehousing of towers, conductors, OPGW, insulators.

Prepared for high voltage power line design and construction tenders complying to European norms in cooperation with Latvian and European design companies. Negotiated supplier offers for equipment and technology part of high and medium voltage substations turnkey projects. Worked out improvements for sales process in Energy department.

Led a team of up to 7 sales, project managers and commissioning engineers. Ensured high, medium voltage, relay protection, automation and control system sales and turnkey project implementation.
