* Reporting to Assistant Director, Infrastructure Manager my responsibilities included: * Provided support for WebSphere middleware infrastructure and JEE applications including core JusticeLink System in the department’s Production, Staging and QA/Test environments. * Designed architecture and built new WebSphere App.Server ND, HTTP Server & Edge Components V6.1 infrastructure that included failover, load balancing, application and web clusters; * Assisted with integration of Oracle identity/access management software (OIM, OAM) with WebSphere security; * Vendor liaison, working with IBM Global Services and other software vendors on various application implementations for the department; * Since the beginning of the engagement the total number of the server machines under management has grown from 5 to 52.

* Subcontracted through AVOGA and IBM to work on design and development of a web-based Promotional Forecast subsystem that is part of larger Replenishment Upgrade R2 project. This enterprise application utilised JEE 1.4, WebSphere 6.0, Oracle 10g and a lightweigh design architecture including Struts, Hibernate and Spring frameworks. ARH Tiger Programme: ================= Worked as a development team leader on Project Management Information System (PMIS). This obligatory web-based B2B document management/workflow system was designed for collaboration between Australian Aerospace, its subcontractors and the Commonwealth of Australia. It was based on Lotus Domino R5, WebSphere App.Server V5 and web technologies. The system was developed in a short time frame (3.5 months) and was successfully delivered into Production for 50 users on 30/06/2002. Due to successful implementation of Phase 1, I was engaged to provide requirement analysis, system architecture design, development and team leading services to build the next Phase 2 of PMIS. This much more complex web-based system was required to provide electronic document management, configurable workflow, multilevel security and Technical Information Repository (TIR) for the elite ARH Tiger helicopter for the Australian Army. The system was successfully deployed into Production for 150 users on 28/07/2003.

* HR SKILLS team - Responsibilities included: * Work on the Concept phase of the next version of Individual Development Plan (IDP) application for IBM worldwide; * Analysis, high-level design, solution document and estimates for Lotus Notes component of IDP Proof of concept of integration Domino with MQ Series using MQ Series Client for Java & IBM JDK * IBM Global Financing (IGF) - Responsibilities included : * Worked on enhancements and changes to the Web Asset Manager (WAM) B2B intranet application for Telstra and other IGF’s internal and external applications using Domino Designer R5, LotusScript, JavaScript and HTML; * Requirement analysis, high-level design, coding, unit testing and implementation; * Enhancements to IGF’s internal Customer and Credit Approval applications; * Performed design, code and test plan reviews.
