Lead Infrastructure Engineer • Translate and align technical, business and operational requirements of Government Solution Line Border Management systems by providing technical implementation support to Government Security Solution Biometrics projects. • Implement and support installation of the biometrics hardware, core hardware components, implementation of software as per installation and configuration instructions given by the Solutions Architect or Project Manager. • Ensure the integration of customer requirements match those of the infrastructure implemented to support the custom built solution. • Participate in full technical and operational lifecycle of Government Security Solution projects including system design, software and hardware installations, network configurations, airline and government certifications and other technical support requirements. • Draft technical documentation as per guidance by the Solutions Architect or Project Manager. • Implement and maintain Government Security Solutions at customer premises. • Coordinate with cross functional teams and third party providers to ensure project technical implementations are done in accordance with approved designs and keep within the customer agreed requirements. • Implement functionality either from specific application enhancements, or functionality requirements as directed by the project manager. • Implement technical change requests ensuring all system changes follow agreed policy and comply with audit requirements. • Draft technical documentation that supports the Government Security Solution products as defined in the requirements. • Support the creation of technical specifications, test plan, acceptance requirements and other documentation required in testing and acceptance of project based solutions. • Provide technical support on complex projects from requirement analysis through implementation and/or support

Systems Engineer • Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity. • Responsible for the viability of hundreds of systems in our environment. Such systems included Virtualization servers, Nagios sytems, Barracuda anti-spam, Blackberry, Exchange and Citrix servers. Our environment also consisted of Microsoft Servers(2003-2008), MS SQL servers, Sharepoint servers and applications. • Install and support new medical applications, such as McKesson CCMS (Care Enhanced Clinical Management Software) and APS Healthcare proprietary application Care Connection, distributing software upgrades, monitoring daily activity, and enforce licensing agreements. • Monitor and support enterprise file share, printer and DNS servers. • Conduct effective research for new software and hardware. • Monitor, maintain, and optimize network software and related operating systems. • Provide architecture and engineering-level support for the Enterprise Active Directory and Exchange environment • Provide day-to-day hands-on support for the Enterprise Active Directory and Exchange environment • Respond in a timely manner to issues reported by customers through the helpdesk • Support and maintain Active Directory, Exchange (2003 / 2007), and Windows Systems (2003 / 2008 • Support and maintain Mobile Messaging on Blackberry Enterprise Server and ActiveSync • Provide support to the Barracuda anti-Spam appliances • System monitoring using IBM Systems Director • Proactively identify and successfully troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner • Create and maintain clear and easily understandable documentation for the current state and proposed state of systems • Work on assigned projects as needed.
