Observed junior American History classes, and gave two lessons on the Civil Rights Movement.

Worked with kindergartners during the day and assisted in grades one to five with homework after school.

Helping to plan future trips and events for the society including a trip to the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, movie nights featuring significant historical events, and club fair events to promote the club. Participated in the Freedom Trail trip to Boston, which provided exposure to Historic Boston, such as, the sight of the Boston Massacre, First Boston Meeting House, and Faneuil Hall. Later traveled to Salem, MA to the Peabody Essex Museum to see the China House and the Colonial House tour.

Welcomed guests to the homestead, handled entrance payment, and cash register. Gave tours to the visitors while providing them information about Rebecca Nurse, colonial life and Danvers’ involvement in the Salem Witch Trials. Worked from 9-3 Sunday’s, and Tuesday-Saturday during the summer.

Acted in four productions as an Abbey Player, four for Family Weekend, one musical Bye Bye Birdie and sang in three Spring Cabarets. In Fall 2013 helped with costumes for the fall shows Almost Maine Fall 2013 and The Love of Three Oranges Fall 2015. Helped with costumes for the production of Thoroughly Modern Millie Spring 2015. The Abbey Players has helped with memorization of lines, communication skills by performing on stage, and time management. Developed excellent time management skills while attending numerous weekly rehearsals.
