"I make clothing that makes you feel like A KING" Big Sushi & Korean BBQ Lover. Lets eat. Five facts about me and my work: I’m a first-generation immigrant who dove straight into the fashion industry by watching YouTube videos and reading Google articles. I used to rework my hand-me-down clothes before I started reselling hyped brands such as Supreme, Air Jordan, etc. I opened AKINGS in 2017 with the mission to make everyone who wears my brand feel like a king. Our iconic J-shaped jeans are designed to fit everyone from 4’ to 7’ tall. Now we’ve grown to 550k+ followers combined across Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter & Youtube. I was on HBOMax’s “The Hype” as a competing designer alongside major celebs such as Offset of the Migos, Wiz Khalifa & Cardi B. You can find AKINGS in major media such as Forbes, GQ, Vogue, Highsnobiety, WWD, and Esquire, or in celebrities like Steve Aoki, Tyga, and Lil Baby. Just recently, my co-founder and I were featured on Forbes 30 under 30: Art and Style Class of 2023. Currently I own and operate a small D2C Portfolio of brands. Typically the other brands in my portfolio are launched alongside of influencer friends as joint ventures. We manage their designs, supply chain, fulfillment & scale their teams while they focus on marketing.
