I’m Alan, a tech entrepreneur and operator turned investor, with 20+ years building companies, teams, and long-term technology partnerships. Today, my main focus is Arcanys Ventures, where we back early-stage founders by doing what traditional investors rarely do well: building alongside them. Instead of capital alone, we invest through dedicated software engineering teams and hands-on operational support, helping founders turn ideas into real products and scalable businesses from Seed to Series A. Our investment model is simple and aligned. We contribute deep technical execution, product thinking, and long-term commitment, typically equivalent to USD 200k to USD 500k per round. We roll up our sleeves, stay close to the work, and focus on outcomes, not decks. To date, we have invested in more than 30 companies. Behind Arcanys Ventures is Arcanys, our software engineering company based in the Philippines. Arcanys has grown over 15+ years into a 350+ strong team of engineers, designers, and leaders who help startups and established companies build and scale technology without losing focus on their core business. Arcanys has repeatedly been recognized as one of the best companies to work for in the Philippines.
