A direct report to the Vice President of Operations with the responsibility of handling all transaction and reconciliation issues for Natixis’ second largest wrap fund client. My daily tasks included posting all client driven cash transactions to the accounts and sending them to our Trading department, solving all cash and position discrepancies, communicating with the client to solve reconciliation issues, and proactively communicating with the Trading department when large issues arise that could lead to costly trade errors. Created an Excel spreadsheet that would align transaction data from both systems so that transaction reconciliation breaks could be quickly identified. Consistently kept the accounts in balance and caused zero trade errors to occur. Led a team of Temporary Contract Employees during a client manager change to accurately open 550 new accounts in one week. Was awarded the President’s Award in 2005 for exceptional work as an Account Reconciliation Specialist.

* Part of a team of interns that were in charge of providing support for two Financial Advisors, specializing in high net worth clients. The intern duties included preparing presentation materials for client meetings, reconciliation of client accounts, scanning equities for potential buying opportunities, recruiting new interns and general office and administrative tasks. * Successfully handled time sensitive workloads with ease. * Completed all daily tasks with limited supervision. * Created an Excel histogram graph template to be used for client meetings. * Completed the unpaid internship in December 2003 while working as a Bartender at night.

An integral part of the operations department, my primary responsibilities included auditing and repairing the firm’s performance composites, calculating firm Assets under Management, creating and sending out client statements, coding new accounts for composite inclusion and creating after-tax performance results for the firm’s institutional accounts. Secondary responsibilities were to aid the Client Service department with any performance based questions and to assist the Account Administration and Reconciliation departments when possible. Created new processes in the auditing of the composites which greatly increased efficiency. Successfully converted the composite storage method from hard copy to Excel spreadsheets. Served as one of the main point persons during the firm’s successful sleeve re-allocation project. Consistently met all performance deadlines so that the head office in Boston, MA could create their monthly statistics. Passed the Series 65 exam in order to aid the New Accounts department in approving full-fee relationship accounts.
