I am a mobile communications consultant with over 30 years experience in Director and Senior management positions in the mobile industry including for manufacturing, regulatory, mobile network operator organisations, major industry trade associations, and for multiple clients. I was also the founding President of GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association), which I was invited to help establish and lead with major industry vendors in 1998. I retired from the President role in January 2015. During my 17 years leadership period GSA became a world-class respected source of mobile industry information and the leading wireless industry association for mobile suppliers. My industry reports, information papers, articles, and presentations etc. including those for One2One (UK mobile operator where I worked 1990-1997, now known as EE), UMTS Forum, GSA and others over many years have cumulatively downloaded well over 1 million times. I have wide and strong relationships at the most senior levels globally with suppliers, mobile network operators, regulatory organisations, analysts, media and other stakeholders worldwide. I was the industrial adviser on UK mobile policy to OFCOM for two years, and actively participated in other leading international and regional organizations including 3GPP, ETSI, the GSM Association, the UMTS Forum, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and others. I authored the book "Personal Communications Networks: Practical Implementation" which was published by Artech House in 1995, and contributed chapters to others.
