About
I entered American University in 2014 with my heart set on being a Business Administration major; however, the moment I learned about Public Relations and Strategic Communications, my mind and career goals changed in a heartbeat. Throughout my time in school, I've worked as a Marketing Assistant for Georgetown Events; a restaurant group that owns over a dozen delicious restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as a Public Affairs intern with the Office of Communications for the Metropolitan Police Department. MPD was one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had, and it allowed me to find my passion for crisis communications. When I'm not fixing crises, I enjoy visiting my friends around the country, attempting and failing cooking meals off of Food Network, and making the people around me laugh.
