Alain Naets

I have spent more than thirty years working in international industrial environments, mainly in reliability engineering, advanced measurement technologies, and global B2B markets. My career has combined technical depth in industrial measurement systems with long-term responsibility for commercial performance, organisational development, and strategic direction. Since 2001, I have led multiple companies through restructurings, integrations, and growth phases. That work has included full P&L ownership, cross-border team leadership, post-acquisition transitions, and the creation of business units serving global sectors such as marine and offshore. I have built and repositioned businesses in Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, and beyond, consistently in markets where technical credibility is central to success. Alongside these leadership roles, I have remained closely involved in the evolution of measurement and reliability standards, advisory boards, and training programmes. This has included contributions to ISO-compliant certification efforts and work with universities and industry organisations. I focus on environments where complex technology, operational discipline, and international strategy have to align.
