Spearheading all procurement and strategic sourcing activities across the Japan, Asia-Pacific (JAPAC), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, managing a combined annual spend of $100M.

• Responsible for leading/managing Strategic Sourcing & Procurement of Facilities, Engineering and IT spend areas across India/JAPAC. • Engage internal stakeholders to ensure minimum requirements to create a PR are met. • Review and approve new supplier onboarding process. • Manage RFx events and documentation. • Support suppliers with issue resolution across the P2P process. • Develop mechanisms and metrics to track supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and cost • Conduct road shows to effectively communicate the vision of Strategic Sourcing team and educate internal stakeholders and articulate methods of engagement and effectively guide internal stakeholders to enable compliance

• Support business leadership teams in actualizing their business plans by developing sourcing strategies. • Conduct RFx and negotiations with the vendors and follow the S2C process defined in the SOP and coordinating the process with internal stakeholders and vendors. • Identify cost savings opportunities, quantify savings, and communicate to Senior Leadership. • Work with internal clients to execute vendor performance reviews and related action plans • Determine appropriate messaging for vendor and Target Sr. Executives and deliver during quarterly business review meetings

• Drive and coordinate with Sales team for all RFx requirements for new bids. • Conduct RFP’s and RFQ’s to establish competitive benchmarks for various goods and services for IFM business. • Supervise and negotiate pricing or terms with vendors wherever required to provide best possible solution to all the accounts. • Responsible for Vendor Selection, onboarding, development & management of all supplier relationships. • Negotiating better contracts terms of cost and T&C with existing suppliers as well as sourcing new suppliers. • Participate in internal audits for Procurement Function at Pan India accounts, identifying risks, establishing risk mitigation and management plans for corporate and account procurement.

My role was to frame sourcing strategy for procuring Real Estate Offices and Data Center construction projects. Responsibilities include carrying out and analyzing RFx, negotiating price with suppliers, maintaining relationships with both internal and external key stake holders, and managing supplier relationship to a level consistent with IBM’s strategy, addressing stakeholder issues and executing sourcing strategies as set out by the Commodity Council.
