Experiment.com (YC W13) is a venture backed crowdfunding and communication platform for scientific research. Some of the things I worked on: Growth strategy: Programatic lead generation for e-mail campaigns and on-boarding new researchers to the platform. Payment operations: Payment processing, failed payment recovery, award transfers, overhead negotiation, and tax-receipting. Partnerships/business development: Advising/educating institutional partners (universities, colleges, foundations) on best practices regarding crowdfunding strategy, operations, and governance models for 'open'​ platforms. Secured, integrated workflows, and managed strategic partnership with the largest community foundation in the US ($6.5bn AuM, 2014).
