Battery safety modeling, testing & requirements.

- Worked with the platform and component teams to acquire engine data required for GT Power modeling. - Pre-processed test cell sensor data to identify a data set for component calibration and combustion modeling. - Built and calibrated engine subsystem models using Spaceclaim and GT Suite. - Used test cell motoring data to validate a GT Power performance model for the next generation Cummins L9 engine.

- Determined the best cooling strategy for improving the continuous operation of motors in electric vehicles. - Simulated the thermal behaviour of Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) Synchronous Motors using ANSYS Fluent. - Simulated motor rotation using the Multiple Reference Frame (MRF) model in ANSYS Fluent.

- Thermal modelling and testing, acoustic & mechanical validation of AMD’s Wraith series coolers. - System level thermal modelling of AMD’s processors used in laptops and desktops using ANSYS Icepak. - Instrumentation, testing & analysis of hotspot data for comparison of laptop skin temperatures and power generation. - Testing of AMD’s data center products using liquid coolers, immersion cooling and air cooling.

Engineer in the Micro Thermal Systems Laboratory at the National University of Singapore - Studied pre-cooling techniques for air-conditioning systems through experimental data collection (LabVIEW) and analysis. - Developed a multi-phase CFD model with a UDF for evaporation for simulating the thermal performance of a condenser coil. - CFD simulation of a hybrid displacement ventilation and radiant cooling system using ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Icepak. - Achieved a 20% increase in heat transfer and 22% increase in the Coefficient of Performance with the help of pre-cooling.

- Institute Rank : 12 / 590 - Recipient of the Institute Merit Scholarship for academic performance (top 3%). - Recipient of the Institute Travel Grant for conducting research at the National University of Singapore. - Volunteer and team leader for Nirmaan Organisation's education operations for 4 years. - Member of the organising team for TEDx BITS Goa 2015. - Project Mentor for the Mechanical Engineering department.
