• Objective: To develop vector representations for musical chords using unsupervised learning • Following established NLP methodology (i.e. GloVe), extracting chord-chord co-occurrence data using MIT’s music21 library • Transitioned from document-level statistics to sliding-window context models to better capture harmonic locality. • Explored evaluation methods for musical embeddings, bridging music theory abstractions and machine learning representations.

• Developed Intensive Task based Human Data for Coding Agents - a Reinforcement Learning method • Worked directly with customer AI Labs to augment and evaluate their Coding Agents

• Contributing to open source PyDM (Python Display Manager), created by the Stanford National Accelerator Laboratory in PyQT • PyDM is the standard software toolset widely used by National Laboratories • Working directly with physicists to develop tools for their specific functional needs

Previously the Music Director of Fleet Street, the all-original comedy a cappella group at Stanford. I handled auditions, running rehearsals, writing and arranging music, and leading us through performances. This includes teaching basic music theory and vocal technique. Over the past few years, we have been transitioning from all-male to all-gender, and I fronted the effort to rearrange all necessary music to include everyone.

• Remix Labs is a low code application development startup offering pre-built modules to streamline app composition. • Worked on Remix's platform team and created an interpreter for Mix, Remix's custom frontend language, in Markdown.

Notable is a healthcare-adjacent software startup. Notable optimizes and automate workflow for healthcare professionals to save time and money. I worked on Notable's platform engineering team, specifically on data ingestion from health and medical records. The specific project was taking data that could be passed in with any parameters and handling conversion and SQL to be uniform across Notable's databases.

• Founded a cover rock band, recruited friends to play various instruments and sing • Lead Guitarist and Vocalist • Arranged sheet music for members • Performed a number of times in and out of school • Edited a song over quarantine with 5 remotely recorded videos from band members • Performed a live show in July 2021 as a graduation celebration for all five members

I was requested by Placer Academy in Rocklin, California, to help tutor middle school students in math. I held weekly meetings where I would go over concepts and help them with homework.

I produced a weekly music program for patients & families as part of their recreational therapy program. I performed extemporaneously - impromptu requests from patients, and during the pandemic I switched from in person performances to Zoom performances.
