My responsibilities include: Support the CEO in developing and executing the Company’s strategy Develop and implement Milaha’s financial strategy and objectives Lead and manage M&A Manage the financial operations of the Company, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning, and corporate finance. Prepare, monitor and update budget and long term business plan Oversee, evaluate and approve capex and strategic investments Lead investor relations and represent the Company with investment banks and investors I am also responsible for the following business units which directly report to me: -Milaha Capital, the investment arm of the group with 1.2 billion USD of financial investments and 1 billion USD of real estate assets under management -Milaha Trading, a heavy equipment, auto and bunker trading company Qatar Navigation (Milaha) Q.P.S.C. was established in July 1957, as the first public shareholding company registered in Qatar and holds commercial registration no. 1. The Company has since evolved, expanded and diversified into maritime transportation, gas, petroleum products, containers and bulk, offshore support services, port management, logistics services, shipyard, trading agencies, real estate, and asset management (close to 2 billion dollars under management).
