Akio Isowa

I am a seasoned banking executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate, retail,investment and transaction banking. Since joining SMBC in 1990 after graduating from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Law, I have held leadership roles across corporate banking, legal and compliance affairs, strategic planning, and retail financial services.Throughout my career, I have contributed to strengthening SMBC’s global banking operations, expanding its transaction banking services, and enhancing client-focused solutions for both domestic and international clients. I have handled lots of international and local portfolio for investors because of my deep understanding of financial markets and commitment to operational excellence.
