As the MEP Manager (Estimation, Procurement & Site Operation) my main area of responsibility focuses on the MEP Estimation, Procurement & Site Execution of the Company Tender, ongoing Subcontractor and Handling Site operation in order to meet each project objectives as per the contract, manage the Engineers and Clients exceptions, achieve our own companies project targets, budget control in order to maximize profits. I have had responsibility for managing complete estimation & procurement within the company since March 2022 and have successfully implemented Value Engineering saving money for the company. At GP Zachariades, I managed MEP procurement for major projects, including KFC Towers, Bahrain International Airport, and the New Oncology Center Hospital, overseeing design reviews, procurement coordination, and construction management. Key Responsibilities and Achievements: • Procurement of all MEP items for KFC towers (Value of Contract: US$ 21,220,159). • MEP Design and review, Procurement coordination & Construction Management for New Oncology centre hospital (Value of Contract: US$ 82,228,116). • Procurement of all MEP items for Bahrain international airport (Value of Contract: US$ 26,525,198). • Identify capability gaps and ensure enough training opportunities are available to Supervisors and field staff.

I was the Deputy General MEP Manager from Client representative responsible for Central Park Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. development of the Commercial Offices & Aloft Hotel (3B + G + 7 Floors) (34,000 m2 built up area), managing and controlling of the project teams from the design development, procurement, budget control and through the construction process. My involvement started prior to the site set up, liaising and assisting with the GMR developers’ regulations to ensure project compliance of the developers’ rules and regulations until to the final completion of the project.

I was the Lead MEP Manager from Client representative responsible for Central Park Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. development of the Commercial Offices & Aloft Hotel (3B + G + 7 Floors) (34,000 m2 built up area), managing and controlling of the project teams from the design development, procurement, budget control and through the construction process. My involvement started prior to the site set up, liaising and assisting with the GMR developers’ regulations to ensure project compliance of the developers’ rules and regulations until to the final completion of the project.

Major Projects Handled: Taj Gateway project – (2B+G+M+4Floors) (24,000 m2 built up area) - MEP Design and review, Procurement coordination, Construction Management, Commissioning & Handover of MEP services of 4 Star hotel Taj Gateway Hotel, 266,547 sq. ft. comprising 2 Basements for BOH & Parking, Ground and Mezzanine Floor for Public areas and BOH, 1st to 4th Floor for 200 Guestrooms developed by LBR Hotels & Hospitality Pvt Ltd at Chennai. This project was completed in one & half years from inception to Handing over to operator. I completed MEP Site Supervision and Execution and handed over the project two months ahead of the scheduled completion time. Responsible for overseeing a portfolio of construction sites - setting up of the projects, management of the junior management team, procurement, contracts, monitoring progress, budget, labour productivity, risks, reporting to clients and board members on project progress and key project issues. Projects ranged from new build, design and build projects. Clients we delivered projects for, LBR (NRI from UK), Taj Gateway Hotel.

Site operation & Design Role: Reviewing material technical submittals forwarded by the suppliers, engineering supervision of Electrical/Fire Alarm System, BMS, and Emergency Lighting System, etc. at site. Analyzing weekly progress reports/MEP construction programme & monitoring work progress at site. Coordinating with consultant regarding selection of Light Fittings and other elements of aesthetic importance related to Electrical services. Negotiating with specialist supplier's for various materials of aesthetic importance prior to nominations. Preparing value engineering proposals and preparing detailed reports. Participating in technical discussions with consultant & client and advising merits/demerits on value engineering proposals. Harmonizing with the main-contractor and the relevant authorities for the installations at Site and monitoring the installations of various electrical and low current systems with reference to the local departments' requirements and the respective BS/IEC /NFPA standards/regulations. Addressing meeting with clients, consultant & sub contractor regarding site progress, planning and procurement/approvals of materials and updating client about overall site progress/quality management and overall performance of the contractor regarding site progress etc. Attending site progress meeting with consultant and discussing technical issues for site coordination/progress/quality of works at site.  Emirates 3 Towers: Residential 3 Tower (Basement + Ground floor + 28 floors) (125,000 m2 built up area). Highlights: Implemented Value Engineering thereby saving some money for the company. Recipient of Best Newcomer award.

• Attended site meetings with civil contractors and conducted site inspections with project consultants to ensure project alignment. • Coordinated with suppliers for material submittals, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. • Prepared daily manpower schedules and updated progress reports for senior Electrical Engineer. • Estimated load schedules and coordinated with local authorities for approval, ensuring compliance with regulations.

In my earlier career I performed site based Electrical Engineering Roles in Sharjah with Diplomat Engineering and Bangalore with Sobha Constructions Education B.E. (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) from Jawaharlal Nehrnational College of Engineering, Shimoga (Visveswaraiah Technological University) in 2006.
