Provide Executive Leadership for a leading Distribution (IT & Mobility)/ Hospitality/ Real Estate Group - Mitsumi Distribution) organisation into Modern Retail. Moving ahead from Computech in Africa – I conceived and launched a retail organization called Majic Mobility Limited – which is a multi-brand Mobile initiative for the MITSUMI Group. In my capacity as CEO, we have conceived, branded, launched the business in Nairobi and from July 2015 – have put together 107 retail points and have also commenced the shop-in-shop model with some of the leading retail and mobility brands. INNOVATION – Keeping in mind the ever changing IT Hardware sector, the business partners have been given this new business opportunity to ensure that they have a robust model and do not fade away from their existing business. Today, the organization is 105 people strong with a monthly run rate business of USD 7.5 Million. The business is primarily managed with local talent at the sales/ marketing and distribution levels.

- Lead the organisation restructuring, operations & strategy with complete responsibility for bottom-line, including long-range planning, product & solutions development & system integration for products across business lines with key focus on regional responsibilities. Spice was awarded a 10 year exclusive contract to manage the contact centre for the Indian Railways under the short code - 139. - Worked on the Business Model to grow the revenues from Nil to INR 100 Crore in the first 2 years and to 190 Crore from the 3rd year. - Successfully transformed the model from an agent led to an IVR/ ASR model - Reduced Manpower from 16,000 to 1,200 across all Regions with an call uptime of 99.9% Was mandated to lead the VAS strategy for the Telecom players across India and East African markets. - Successfully developed a share market policy on the call volume and the SMS volume with an average share of 45% - Initiated the advertising model on HOLD Time - and predictably opened a new market for Revenue enhancement.
