Preparing drawings and ordering Steel Rule Dies and Print Plates from our vendors. 15. Preparing drawings and receiving quotes, samples for foam, partitions, wood products from our vendors. 16. Operating the CAD table in a safe and effective manner when required. 17. Ensuring the completion of production orders are completed and delivered on time to customers. 18. Creation of a parametric catalogue of standard styles, as well as a 3D or appropriate rendering file of each.

Utilize CAD software to develop detailed technical drawings. Prepare and optimize digital files for print production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Conduct prepress checks to identify and resolve any potential issues in artwork files. Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements Analyze the intended use of product and user preferences

Collaborate closely with artwork manager, account managers, designers, and clients. Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing. Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production. Develop manual and computer-assisted design (CAD) concepts, sketches or models for approval Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation. Participate in creating renderings of displays and mock-ups for customers. Package and preflight files for release to internal or external printers/vendors or media partners. Create PDFs for print and client review. Conduct press checks. Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of graphic design software and its capabilities. Keep abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. Catalog and reference art for future projects. Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time. Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer. Effectively manage multiple projects and provide ongoing status reports to key stakeholders, while taking ownership of projects and executing them through completion.

Creating and finalizing pre-press files based on concepts and templates provided by creative agencies for print production. This includes, but is not limited to offset printing, silk-screening, large format printing, vinyl printing/cutting, in-store graphics, and any other print design as required. Develop structural packaging designs suitable for shipping direct to consumer, and for sale in retail environments. Engineer and create in-house paperboard, corrugated, and set up box packaging to ensure product integrity and design manufacturability using Artios CAD or equivalent. Produce presentation-quality 2D & 3D renders of packaging and retail displays. Reviewing samples, proofs, and prototypes quickly and thoroughly. Responsible for effectively communicating with clients on specifications, hand-off assets, and ensure designs are free of errors before sending to press by proofing jobs for content, distortion, and traps. Using electronic page layout software (imposition software) manipulating the format of the print job to the dimensions of the paper to create imposition to match job specifications outlined in the job tickets. Determine page layout, accounting for folds, trims, bleeds, and gripper, and add crop marks and color bars (Printing marks) as necessary. Organizing, maintaining, and filing work on the network in an organized fashion, following the standards/guidelines for the master file structure and naming conventions.

Develop temporary and semi-permanent display concepts/designs that meet client objectives within defined parameters; designs include die layouts for sample-making pallet patterns, shippers, and shipping fillers. Effectively communicates design and packaging details to internal and external contacts ensuring project information and requirements are clearly understood and production errors are kept to a minimum. Collaborate with the Graphic / Industrial department in the design of displays. Share designs with the Sales Representative and when required revise design based on Sales Rep or client feedback. Cut and build using corrugate to create samples, prototypes for the display industry to obtain client approval prior to production. Test displays for structural soundness prior to production. Prepare CAD drawings for Estimators to finalize quotes and order materials. Prepare electronic die layouts for the creative department and outside agencies. Provide direction to production staff on the assembly of displays. Photograph displays prior to shipment when requested by the Sales Representative. Prepare instruction sheets prior to shipping display. Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security, and Company policies and procedures.
