Akari Nakamoto

I am currently working as an Head of HR Japan at QIAGEN. I am Native in Japanese, Business level in English, and basic Korean skills. I would describe myself as an optimist, reflective learner, analytical, and an open-minded person. I obtained my MBA from the University of Exeter Business School in the UK. I learned that ethical leadership, psychological safety, transparency, and open communication are able to create trusting relationships, resulting in a better working environment. This led to my passion for focusing my career on the HR field. Therefore, I wish to create a work environment that positively impacts people, the environment, and myself. In addition, I have been the official Exeter MBA Alumni Ambassador since November 2021.
