➢ Evaluation of high-level radioactive waste borosilicate glass by multiple spectroscopy techniques: This project focuses on the characterization of simulated non-radioactive waste glasses prepared by vitrification of high level waste calcines to evaluate complexity of iron effects (local iron environment Fe2+ and Fe3+) on silicate phase separation. ➢ Structural investigation of these glasses has been performed using a range of diffraction, microscopic, and spectroscopic techniques.

Responsible for : • Major shut down work of BLAST FURNACE (0.8 AND 1.5MTA Capacity) and COREX (0.8*2 MTA each, VAI- Austria) Re-Heating Furnace (STEIN HEURTY-FRANCE) -300 Tons/hr in Hot Strip Mill, 4.2 MTA Indurating furnace and Ignition furnace, involving Identifying and developing list of activities to be performed, also highlighting the “critical activity path” for timely project completion. A keen planning and strategist approach with skills in team building , organisation building capability and proven abilities in planning and managing resources both man and material. • Successful completion of planning and material procuring activities for COREX relining this involves o Planning includes, sending enquires of our required specification to different vendors. o Preparation and selection of vendor list accordingly for the generation of quotations as per our defined specifications. o Creation of material specification and its codification for the preparation of purchase requisition and then generation of purchase requisition. o Floating and receiving of quotation from different vendors and then comparing for price, quality and delivery details (according to the requirements) for the preparation of L1 sheet and submitting it to the purchase department and then follow-up of these material • Regular documentation of Refractory Cost/Consumption reports. Project and Revenue planning, scheduling and documentation based on plant requirement project progress and performance. • Regular maintenance and campaign repairs of hot metal ladle. worked in Stabilisation of Hot Metal ladle life by changing the quality and design of refractory used. • Good interpersonal skills and team approach.
