● Responsible for overall coordination and oversight of the $120M flood recovery program over 5 years to repair damages from the June 2013 floods in the Kananaskis Region as per Disaster Recovery Program guidelines. Program is in its final year and on track to be completed for $85M. Consists of approx. 275 projects managed by up to 8 direct reports and up to 20 additional wage/temp sal staff (varies by year based on project requirements). The program utilizes a combination of in-house and 3rd party project management and construction methodologies. ● Responsible for overall coordination and oversight of the $30M South Saskatchewan Regional Plan (SSRP) program. This program consists of up to 30 expansion, preservation and eco-tourism projects over 5-7 years managed by 4 direct reports and numerous support staff including planners, ecologists and admin support. Program is currently ahead of schedule and on an accelerated financial schedule. ● Overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the tendering and contracting process within our region and developing flow diagrams and procedures to address deficiencies and legal challenges as they arise. We issue 20-50 construction tenders (over $100k) per year and issue approximately 100-150 contracts and/or work orders (less than $100k) per year.

● Responsible for coordination and management of the Kananaskis Region Infrastructure Program consisting of prioritizing, scheduling, budgeting and tracking of all capital, operating and maintenance projects with an approximate budget of $7M to $20M annually. The Kananaskis Region has a diverse geographic area of approx. 19,000 km2 with over 5 million unique visitors per year and has significant assets ranging from roads, bridges, water/wastewater lines and plants, primary/secondary utilities to visitor centers, hotels, ski hills, campgrounds and trails with an estimated construction value of +/- $650M as of the mid 1990’s. It is primarily a remote mountainous environment but also includes Glenbow Ranch and Fish Creek Provincial Parks which are two of the largest urban parks in North America. ● Assisting project managers with project scoping and definition, client program sign off, management team approval, budgeting/forecasting and tendering and contracting guidance prior to officially assigning the project to the project managers. The Infrastructure Program averages 50-150 projects on an annual basis consisting of a mix of small (<$100k), medium ($100k-$1M) and large projects (over $1M). ● Providing project management services on complex/large or unique building renovations, paving and water/wastewater projects. ● Working with technical staff to procure all regional equipment such as trailers, quads, boats, skidoos, compressors, gravel trucks and excavators. ● Developing and implementing a comprehensive project request, initiation and construction management tracking system within the Region to increase consistency in project initiation and delivery while managing expectations and creating favorable outcomes. ● Establishing and maintaining a Pre-Qualification Request process for engineering services and trades/heavy equipment services resulting in operational efficiencies for services less than $75k and construction less than $100k.
