Research Work allocated on Illegal Content and Online Harms and underlying priciples. Under the same, research undertaken on intermediary liability and penal provisions. Research articles: encryption and traceability, status of gig workers on India, merchant onboarding under the PAPG guidelines. Research undertaken on IT Rules, 2021- concerns and reg-tech solutions. Specific research on topics: Sections 69A, IT Act, data sharing practices between government and companies, AI and bias.

Research work allotted broadly on the topic of Consumer Protection and building trust in the digital market for the Indian framework. Under the same, the need for data protection and cybersecurity frameworks, the key issues- regulatory and technological, the relationship of consumer protection and AI, and Techlash were researched upon. Researched on the European framework of Consumer trust in the digital sector. Specific areas of research allotted on encryption, intrusive surveillance technology in India, the debate of security v. security. Worked comprehensively on the four labour codes passed in India. Researched on specific topics such as the feminist analysis of the Codes and impact of suspension of labour laws during the pandemic on the labourers.

Research work was allocated in areas of Constitutional Law- unconstitutionality of the abrogation of Article 370, data protection and privacy to establish the unconstitutionality of surveillance systems. Specific topics of research were assigned relating to illegal mining, Rule 37 of Mines And Mineral Concession Rules, 1960, liability of government officials in cases of forgery during appointment and power of the Court to impose prohibitions.

Research work was allocated in the areas of criminal law- Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. Research was undertaken in relation to suspension of licences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, contract law between state and private parties in tender cases and real estate law.

Research work was allocated in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, Indian Limitation Act, 1963, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Research was also undertaken in Laws relating to consumer protection, Electricity laws relating to FBSM mechanism and state pool parties, maintainability of writ petitions on final decree proceedings and contract law between the state and private parties in tender cases.

Learnt the process of mediation and how out of court settlements are held in family law cases (divorce, domestic violence, maintenance) and civil disputes (inheritance, partition).

Interned in the ‘Community Policing’ wing of Janaagraha, and was delegated work comprising of Field work (conducting awareness program in various localities) and Research work (on women and laws, creation of safety manuals)
