Support the development and maintenance of apprenticeship and education standards through building a new framework and system of stakeholder engagement with industry, including a comprehensive database. Develop new program and processes and analyze the effectiveness of them. Create an evaluation framework. Conduct enhanced research and analysis of various topics. Advise on operational and strategic policy. Identify and lead opportunities for operational process improvements. Supervise a small team that provides support to both regular and project-based activities of the team and unit.

In the ministry of Advanced Education I was part of a team that conducted research to support policy development, strategic decision-making, and program evaluation. The research ranged from small industry stakeholder surveys to populations like graduates or Alberta student loan borrowers. We create statistical profiles and metrics used to evaluate program outcomes. Managed large government contracts under tight deadlines.

Associate Program Director of a graduate Counseling Psychology program. Primary role is Clinical Director of City University's Edmonton Counseling Clinic. Responsible for day to day operations, client management, hiring, and leading a team of counseling interns and supporting supervisory staff. Provide support to the program director, interviewing prospective students, teaching courses, and mentoring and supporting students in professional development and research/publication.

As an associate faculty member in the Masters of counseling psychology program I taught several courses each year, participated in comprehensive exams and mentored students' thesis research. I conducted secondary research projects with students and mentored them in conducting and publishing research and professional development. I am on the board of the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and serve as a reviewer for several other journals including the Journal of Feminist Family Therapy.

Full-time tenure track faculty member. Responsibilities included teaching, administration, and research. Taught courses on research, statistics, systems theory, and program development. Mentored students' dissertation research and mentored many students in research, scholarly writing and reviewing for academic journals. Served on several university committees including the Research Council. I was also involved in curriculum development and COAMFTE accreditation.

Primarily learned about systems theory and its applications to change processes, therapy, and organizations. Also became an expert in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
