* To optimize the costing and preparing the data sheets for enquiry & tenders according to the specifications given by the customers. * To coordinate with marketing department for tendering, enquiries and other issues related to transformer design, development and manufacturing to ensure customers’ satisfaction (clients both for local & foreign industry). * Also have knowledge of designing instrument and measuring transformers (CTs & PTs). * Part of the R & D team for continuous improvement and enhancement of the old design. * Estimation of the material cost of repairing damaged transformers brought in to factory premises and to issue repairing instructions to manufacturing department. * Knowledge of instruments used in transformer testing including resistance meters, turn ratio meters, power analyzers, power multi meters, high voltage test sets, insulation testers, insulation analyzer, impulse generators (up to 200kV). * Designing of instrument transformers. Achievements * Successful prototype testing of Aluminium Winding Transformer for the 1st time in Pakistan from HV & SC lab, Rawat. * Working in the team for the manufacturing of Prototype Transformers from the HI-B core for the first in Pakistan. * Involved in the manufacturing of the special transformer for short circuit test for the type. * Successful production of WANA Transformers for the first time in Pakistan * Designing transformers for the Saudi Electric Company (SEC).
