Under the overall supervision of the Program Manager and Executive Director of Shaqodoon Organization, I am responsible for: Planning, directing, and coordinating the work and Projects of Shaqodoon Organization Represent Shaqodoon Organization at conferences and meetings organized by the Government, INGOs, UN, and the private sector. Coordinate all project activities, from substantive, administrative, and financial points of view, applying strategic planning and systematic coordination of project activities. Provide direction and leadership in advocating project objectives and ensuring that all interested parties are well informed about the project activities and goals. Identify any support and advice required for the management, planning, and control of Projects. Ensure timely preparation and compilation of the Project Annual/Quarterly Work Plans and Progress/Final substantial and Narrative and financial reports and its submission to donors as appropriate. Endeavor to build professional relationships with authorities to ensure full participation of a broad spectrum of national leadership in identifying, planning, and executing Project activities.

Engagement Coordinator

The Engagement Coordinator is expected to contribute to the success of enterpreneurs, creation of business eco-system and support employment seekers linking to the potientail private and public instutions for work experience gaining purpose. • Increase in the number of internships for youth by establishing sector related networks between skills providers, government, and private sector industries to align training programme to sector needs and increase the involvement of private sector (corporate) companies in the training of youth (e.g. through provision of on-the-job learning opportunities). • Increase in the relevance of internships and/or learning-on-the-job opportunities for youth by providing short training courses for businesses related to the provision of valuable learning opportunities within an internship and coaching of interns • Increase in the support provided by (corporate)companies to the young start-ups completing The Next Economy programme. • Increase in the active involvement of (corporate) businesses in The Next Economy programme. • Organise 6 (every two months) sector network meetings for each of the professional sectors (total 12 per programme location) in which at least four (corporate) companies are represented. Network meetings serve the purpose to exchange best practices and challenges related to the provision of internships. (this activity can be combined with activity 3) • Organise 4 (each quarter) job fairs in which local companies present themselves to the youth and youth can speed-date with potential employers/internship providers. Each job fair includes one, or more, short seminars related to employability topics (e.g. guest speakers from HR departments, programme alumni, etc.) • Providing technical (hands-on) support to partner businesses in providing opportunities for their employees to participate in the Employee Engagement Programme.

Program Coordinator

Help students in writing articles, carrying out events and conducting schools’ needs assessment surveys during the development of the survey tools, data collection time and in data entry and analysis. • Coaching project target youth to define their further soft skill training needs, employment prospects business idea development opportunities and work with the youth as individuals, and sometimes as groups, to assist them in making future career decisions.

Senior Program Officer

• Representing YPEER at national level stakeholder coordination meetings and attending consultative meetings, with relevant coalitions / networks / platforms / government line ministries and other relevant stakeholders. • Ensuring project compliance with the donor requirements in the agreed timeframe such as reporting, visibility, and rule of origin and implementing the specified project activities in accordance with approved annual work plans extracted from the project proposal. • Determining the operational needs of the program within the scope of the grants; analyze data gathered and proposing alternative strategies of program implementation; • Ensuring that the project is delivered according to the theory of change, logical framework and donor requirements and in line with IPRT Human Rights Based Approach and organisational values. • Compiling project and donor reports and assisting with development of future projects as needed; liaising closely with local authorities, donor and partner agencies to ensure project compliance with donor policies and regulations. • Identifying capacity building needs with beneficiaries, draft terms of reference and engage experts for project training workshops and study meetings; setting up the schedule of the training and suitable learning environment and providing technical support and monitoring capacity building and technical support activities to ensure effective impact. • Collecting and analyzing data and information skillfully for management decision making, evidence based programming, demonstrating results, accountability and comparing program implementation against expected results contained in plans. • Ensuring that effective budget management system is in place and applied that help track not only expenditures against budget, but also with the actual project implementation status within the partners.

• Assist program coordinator and the project officers to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators. • Coordinate the implementation of baseline surveys, follow‐on monitoring and evaluation exercises for various initiatives in the regions. • Develop program and operational reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of information in programs. • Coordinated compilation and dissemination of Annual and Quarterly Reports for the programs • Organize and coordinate lessons learnt review of program work plans with partners and other stakeholders. • Facilitate documentation and reporting of assessments, program data, lessons learnt and best practices for internal and external sharing • Develop and maintain effective information database on projects, providing resource and necessary support for program inputs and outputs. • Maintaining, updating and improving HPA’s databases including for Health Information Management Systems (MHIS) and for the Gender Based Violence Management Information System (GBVMIS) • Maintaining all documentation related to supervisions • Assisting in the maintenance of HPA multimedia database. • Full control of the Maroodi-Jeex programme M&E database and coordination with Sahil for cross cutting issues concerned with the Sahil M&E database • Establishing new databases and adapting existing ones to take account of new regions and programme areas as may be relevant • Act as a focal person for communication, coordinating information request and documentation of best practices for internal and external sharing.
