As a former competitive swimmer, I now coach age-group swimmers (10–14) to stay connected to the sport that shaped me. When academic commitments made it difficult to continue competing, coaching became a way for me to remain involved while helping younger swimmers develop their skills, discipline, and confidence in the water. - Run daily practice for a group of 10–20 competitive age-group swimmers, managing pace, energy, and set execution in real time - Contribute to workout design, adapting sets on the fly based on swimmer readiness and performance - Provide individualized stroke technique corrections to swimmers as needed - Motivate and challenge swimmers through hard sets, building mental toughness alongside physical conditioning

Built and led backend development for an AI-powered English learning platform, shipping production features in Python/Flask and PostgreSQL while managing a 4-person intern team. • Led a 4-person intern team, restructuring sprint planning and code review workflows to restore on-time feature delivery. • Built a phoneme-level pronunciation assessment pipeline using Azure Speech SDK, scoring accuracy, fluency, and prosody in real time. • Designed LangGraph state machines for adaptive coaching with conditional branching, Redis session persistence, and LLM-generated feedback. • Developed a sentence-level reading coach with word-level mispronunciation, omission, and insertion detection. • Shipped a production FastAPI backend with Supabase, real-time audio processing, ElevenLabs TTS, and reading progress tracking
