Serving as Design Authority and Owner's Representative for DAMAC Digital's data center development program, leading design management across AI, hyperscale, and cloud campus projects in the UAE and MENA region. Accountable for delivering projects from concept and feasibility through Issued-for-Construction (IFC), spanning 10MW–100MW+ capacity developments. Key Contributions: • Directed end-to-end design management for multiple hyperscale and AI-ready data center projects across concurrent developments. • Led multidisciplinary design teams, managing Lead Design Consultants (LDCs) across architectural, structural, MEP, ICT, and specialist systems. • Evaluated and integrated liquid cooling solutions — including direct liquid cooling (DLC) and rear-door heat exchangers — to support AI and GPU workloads at rack densities of 30–100 kW/rack. • Drove PUE optimization through CFD-validated thermal modeling, cooling load analysis, and equipment selection, targeting sub-1.3 PUE on hyperscale builds. • Authored Basis of Design (BOD) documentation and technical standards in compliance with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV, TIA-942, ASHRAE A2, and NFPA. • Conducted and reviewed Technical Due Diligence (TDD) reports and design risk assessments for new site acquisitions. • Led data center test-fit studies and white space planning to maximize IT density, scalability, and future capacity expansion. • Managed technical evaluations (TEO) for long-lead critical infrastructure: chillers, cooling towers, generators, UPS systems, and precision cooling units. • Oversaw BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks, resolving design clashes across all disciplines prior to IFC. • Supported procurement, tender evaluations, and supplier negotiations for critical infrastructure packages. • Ensured full regulatory compliance through authority approvals, building permits, and statutory submissions.

Delivered mechanical design consultancy for mission-critical data center projects across the UAE and wider region, working within Sudlows' specialist data center advisory and design practice. Responsible for full mechanical design from concept through detailed design, contributing to hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation data center developments. • Produced detailed mechanical design packages for data center cooling systems including chilled water plants, CRAC/CRAH architectures, and precision cooling for critical IT environments. • Performed cooling load calculations, hydraulic analysis, and energy modeling to validate thermal performance and drive PUE improvements. • Conducted CFD thermal analysis to validate hot aisle/cold aisle containment, airflow management strategies, and cooling topology optimization. • Reviewed and developed contract documentation, specifications, BOQ, and design-stage deliverables in compliance with client standards and Uptime Institute Tier requirements. • Carried out condition surveys and technical due diligence assessments for existing data center facilities. • Coordinated mechanical designs within multidisciplinary BIM environments using Revit and Navisworks. • Evaluated data center topology, redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N), and system resilience against client availability targets. • Supported tender and procurement processes including technical evaluations of mechanical equipment and contractor submissions.

Delivered mechanical engineering design and coordination for data center and critical infrastructure projects, contributing to facilities across the GCC and MENA region. Responsible for HVAC system design, thermal analysis, and MEP coordination across mission-critical and industrial project types. • Designed and specified HVAC and cooling systems for data center and critical facility projects, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and applicable local standards. • Developed mechanical design calculations, equipment schedules, and technical submittals for cooling and fire protection systems. • Coordinated MEP design across multidisciplinary project teams, managing interfaces between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil disciplines. • Supported design of pump stations, water treatment, and utility infrastructure for large-scale facility developments. • Prepared engineering design packages, specifications, and technical documentation for client and authority submissions. • Contributed to design review and value engineering exercises to optimize system performance and cost efficiency.
