Dr. Ahmed Fawzy Learning and Development Trainer and assessor Ahmed Fawzy is a certified leadership trainer from the Australian Institute of Business. He is also a certified DISC trainer from TTI. Ahmed holds a PhD in hospitality management from the Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. Ahmed has been a learning and development trainer and assessor since 2006. Passionate about people and a big believer in personal development and training; Ahmed developed and delivered courses in a number of areas such as business and management skills, management by objectives, performance appraisal, customer service and satisfaction, strategic planning, workplace skills, DISC dynamic communication, and business writing. He took part in several assessment centers as an assessor. He used different assessment tools such as group discussions, role plays, and interviews. Ahmed's strong academic skills added value to him as a trainer/assessor in terms of enabling him to communicate and interact easily with participants and develop a sense of initiative, imagination as well as enthusiasm. He also has a vast practical knowledge of the hospitality industry having worked in a number of five star hotels in Cairo and carried out consultancy work for chain restaurants worldwide. Ahmed is proficient in written and spoken English, Spanish and French. He published a number of articles in some international journals such as Hospitality Review, Journal of Convention and Event Tourism and International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Administration. Ahmed's leisure interests embrace reading, swimming, playing tennis and keeping fit.
