Knowledge of Import & Export (EAR / ITAR/ ECCN and License) ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations by providing accurate documentation in compliance with global customs requirements. Act as a single point interface with international employees and customers to ensure on time inbound and outbound deliveries. Daily communication with procurement team, demand and planning team, inventory team, project managers, vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders and all transportation carriers (Sea, Air and domestic - FTL, LTL & 3PL operations) to ensure efficient movement of goods to perform a full cycle of supply chain. Working knowledge of SAP and ERP. Audit invoice and entry summary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination of Sea Import shipments such as Research, negotiation for the right quality/service from the right source and the right price all to meet a specific need. Follow up with KN origin office for new shipments, produce quote based on the incoterm and sent out to consignee for approval, open import files, production of internal documentation, handling of inbond shipment (cf7512), follow up with shipping line, port, CFS to make sure they receive our payment and customs clearance to release shipment in their system to avoid any storage, also follow up with customs broker to ensure ISF filling and Customs clearance. Advise customers of Arrival at sea port and CFS. Dispatch to CFS & hauler when cargo/freight is available to pick up and make sure Freight is picked up and delivered as scheduled. Update import status, making sure all the relevant bill/invoices are received, auditing all the bill/ invoices related to the shipment and produce invoices and send to consignee for payment and making sure G​P is positive.​. Dealing with email queries from Kuehne + Nagel Overseas and local offices as well as consignee, trucking company, CFS and carrier ensuring that excellent standard of data accuracy are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Fulfillment Centers) Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, and/or other data management systems) Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations Able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data Able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow-up with Sales and Pricing dept ensuring rates are filed correctly before container on dock Provide rates and other information to customer as per S/C and ERP system Upload EDI for shipping instruction and make sure that AES # & HS code are there to load cargo prior to 48 hours of VSL sailing. Performs customs filing US exports in accordance with federal and regulatory agency guidelines. Prepares shipping documents and retains shipping records. Constant telephone and e-mail contact with each Customer/Hanjin sales and pricing dept Handle VIP customers along with over one hundred of customers Read and reply of overseas message and taking quick action based on overseas requirements.
