Rafed is the UAE’s prime group purchasing organisation (GPO) for the procurement, supply chain management, storage and distribution of essential medical equipment pharmaceuticals. As Rafed’s Chief Commercial Officer, I plan and implement measurable strategies, initiatives, and projects. It is my responsibility to look for holistic approaches to strategy and problem solving across all channels, while also collaborating and directing others. Broadly my responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing strategies to raise awareness of Rafed's mission and "voice." • Creating comprehensive business strategies to meet the goals and objectives of the board of directors. • By guiding and coaching managers, you can build an effective leadership team. • Participate in public speaking engagements to represent Rafed and raise awareness of the organisation. • Create corrective actions for any identified issues, and manage crises as needed. Highlights: • Successfully integrated Rafed as a critical player in the Hope Consortium; which was created to overcome the challenges of the distribution around the world. • Spearheaded initiatives in line with government objectives and policies. • Played an instrumental role in establishing Rafed as the prime medical GPO of Abu Dhabi. • Planning and execution of processes to ensure availability of COVID vaccines within the region and globally. • Managed crisis situations successfully, allowing for a steady flow of medical equipment.

Abu Dhabi Healthcare Company (SEHA) - The UAE’s largest healthcare network. As SEHA's Operational Performance Manager, I was responsible for implementing the appropriate processes and practices throughout the organization in the most cost-effective manner possible. I conducted continuous operations analysis in order to create necessary improvements to ensure SEHA's cross-functional operational efficiencies. Additional responsibilities included: • Enhancing operational management systems, processes, and standards of conduct • Reviewing activity, operational, and financial reports to determine necessary modifications to programs or operations. • Developing, executing, and reassessing operational policies and procedures. • Collaborating with the board of directors to define the organization's values and objectives, as well as to develop short- and long-term goals. • Identifying and solving the organizational challenges and prospects.
