I am a behavioral health leader and clinician with progressive experience spanning direct care, program development, and executive-level operations within community mental health and higher education systems. My work has evolved from Senior Peer Counselor with the City of Fremont to Clinician and Associate Program Director at Caminar, and most recently Interim Clinical Director of a 16-bed locked Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC), where I oversaw multidisciplinary teams, regulatory compliance (DHCS/Title 9), utilization review, conservatorship coordination, crisis management, staffing operations, and budget oversight exceeding $2.6M. Clinically, I specialize in high-acuity populations, crisis stabilization, culturally responsive care, and spiritually integrated psychotherapy. I have provided individual, premarital, and marital counseling with particular expertise serving Muslim, immigrant, refugee, and university populations.
