Work placement in Environment, Health and Safety, related to MSc course at the University of Sunderland. Duties included: Improvement of COSHH assessments, environmental assessment of the processes, storage, and waste, testing Local Exhaust Ventilation, accident investigation, environmental auditing, ideas for improvement and efficiency, preparation and assisting in toolbox talks, communication of findings and ideas with the senior management.

Shift work as assembly, packaging and maintenance operator. Worked during summer holidays on temporary basis. Finished to be able to study full-time at University.

Studied Environmental Science, which included laboratory work on micro-organisms, chemistry (organic, non - organic, biochemistry), soil and air sample testing, use of scientific software, such as ArcGIS, statistic calculations and spreadsheets. The subject of Bachelors dissertation was 'Small river power plants, properties, use and impact on the environment', with a 5 (very good) grade result. Activities and Societies: AIESEC - member of the CSR committee team, host of the CSR conference.
