Agha Shahzad Pervez

Mr Agha Shahzad Pervez is an accomplished ASX board leader with more than 15 years of executive experience across the mining, critical minerals, and listed-company governance landscape. His career spans senior roles in financial management, corporate strategy, and capital markets, with a strong track record of guiding exploration companies from early-stage development through to major strategic milestones. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Viridis Mining and Minerals Limited (ASX: VMM) and Non-Executive Chairman of Balkan Mining & Minerals Limited (ASX: BMM), Equinox Resources Limited (ASX: EQN), and Pioneer Lithium Limited (ASX: PLN). Across these roles, Mr Pervez provides strategic oversight in rare earths, lithium, and broader critical minerals exploration—supporting Australia’s emerging role in global supply-chain diversification. His leadership is defined by disciplined governance, transparent capital management, and a commitment to developing high-quality, ESG-aligned exploration portfolios. He works closely with boards, technical teams, and institutional stakeholders to strengthen operational performance, secure investment, and build long-term shareholder value. Previously, Mr Pervez held CFO and company secretary roles at several ASX-listed companies including Battery Age Minerals Limited (ASX: BM8), Equinox Resources Limited (ASX: EQN), Resonance Health Limited (ASX: RHT), and Delta Ridge Limited. These roles provided him with extensive expertise in corporate finance, compliance, ASX regulatory frameworks, and financial stewardship.
