I worked in the positioning of a WesternGeco seismic streamer vessel, with sources and receivers. The main objective is to keep the spread in the correct position and depth, and for 3D jobs to guarantee seismic coverage according to client specifications. This requires a complex interaction with all the on board departments, including Acquisition, Handling and Maritime. The maintenance of the related equipment in the rack room and in the back deck is also assigned to positioning engineers.

I was a coordinator for all the content of a weekly online magazine, supervising a wide range of functions including press and photography. I had a continuous relationship with the personalities and companies we interviewed, and with potential clients or partners.

I coordinated a team of journalists and photographers to cover the various sections of the magazine - a span from politics to cooking. We did an average of 2 interviews per week. Every member of the team was a volunteer, which added an increased challenge to the job.

Design, Model, Simulation and Construction of an Electronic Brake Pedal for Heavy Vehicles. Considered "Exceptionally Good" by the examiner jury, on the grounds of "the results are of high quality, innovative in the area and easily publishable".

Director in charge of the magazine’s weekly operation, content organization and editing. Oversaw a team of ten people. Led several projects on special issues, including collaboration with external organizations and personalities. Worked in several positions, including guest editor, press manager, journalist, translator, and article writer.

Wrote two articles on behalf of the Secretary General for “Quest for Cyber Confidence,“ an ITU publication commissioned to the cybersecurity division. Translator and content editor, English to Spanish, for senior staff going on mission to Latin America. Prepared a comparative analysis on cybersecurity principles of the Commonwealth Cybercrime Initiative and the ITU.

* Detecting Congestion on Internet Interdomain Links. In preparation for the ACM Special Interest Group on Data Communications - SIGCOMM conference. First author. Tasks include: collection and scientific analysis of network latency and packet loss data, using customized anomaly detection algorithms and reactive measurement techniques. * Quantifying the Pressure of Legal Risks on Third-party Vulnerability Research. * Accepted paper, 2017 ACM Conference on Computer & Communications Security - CCS * First Author. Tasks include: probabilistic & statistical analysis of company and researcher data. Data analyst looking at congestion patterns in networks related to residential broadband, particularly peering interconnection points, and their implication for Quality of Service.
