1) Looking after procurement of Valves,Flanges, Fittings, Gaskets, Pipes and Studbolts. 2) Have served big clients like: Aramco, L&T, Petroleum development of Oman (PDO), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), LINDE, ADNOC etc. 3) Building good relationship with suppliers spread across the globe: China, S. Korea, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, USA, etc. 4) Receiving & reviewing technical specifications, bill of quantity, drawings provided by project/sales, determine / search for suitable Manufacturers /suppliers. 5) Preparing inquiry documents (technical & commercial) & floating the inquiries to the suitable vendors. And following up with the vendors to get the quotations on time to avoid any delay. 6) Receiving the quotations from the vendors, reviewing & evaluating them technically & commercially. 7) Attending meetings with project engineers, suppliers, Quality, sales team to finalize the technical and commercial aspects of the order. 8) Preparing & issuing Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with the selected vendors, price & technical specifications using Oracle Erp. 9) Sending the Purchase Orders to the suppliers, following up the production schedule / drawings / technical documents required for approval. 10) Monitoring & Following up the deliveries / production status with logistics & vendors. 11) Appointing Third Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA) & following the inspections, reports & release notes of the materials. 12) Evaluating the vendors
