I'm the co-founder of Payper, New Zealand's most transparent and results-based PR firm. www.payper.co Previously... I co-founded Not Another™, a creative agency based in Christchurch and Sydney before selling it to my business partner in 2025. I was the co-founder and operator of sustainable fashion company Offcut for five years until I sold it in 2020. In a past life, I was a TV reporter for 3News (now Newshub) for four years, and I've co-directed two climate change documentaries for (and funded by) the United Nations Development Programme: one in Bangladesh and one in Mongolia. I'm a staunch environmentalist and am particularly passionate about using business as a force for action in climate change action. I co-conceived the idea for, and co-launched, Trump Forest: a global campaign to plant trees to offset Donald Trump's climate ignorance. The campaign gained global attention and led to almost 1,500,000 trees being planted around the world. I've spoken at TEDxAuckland about my war on waste, and the need to rethink the word waste as "by-product" in business. In my spare time, I'm a wannabe handyman, enthusiastic (but poorly skilled) sportsman, and a proud uncle.
