genetics short film cannes film festival premiere
Genetics is an 18 minute short film that recently held its world premiere at the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. As writer, director and producer I drove the project from conception through multiple script drafts, shooting with a highly experienced cast and crew and in post production to a world class standard as accepted by the Cannes Film Festival. Arguably the worlds most prestigious film festival, Cannes provided the perfect backdrop for a world premiere of the film. Working with highly experienced crew from Mick Jones Media, I planned the logistics of the film shoot over several months, squeezing what was potentially four shooting days down into two.

down the coast short film
For this production I travelled to the NSW South Coast with six crew from LitUp Digital and ten actors to shoot a 1980’s themed short film. Working with Director of Photography Mick Jones, Producer Peter Fadeyev and Sound Recordist / Editor Linda Ung, our team completed location shooting in just over two days. Pre production included meticulous planning in order to set an accurate scene from the 1980’s ranging from period motor vehicles to wardrobe and television sets. This film was entered into a range of worldwide short film festivals. The trailer can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/32834121
