The Market Integrity and Transparency Department (MIT) of ACER is responsible for the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT), in close cooperation with the ACER's Market Surveillance and Conduct Department. The work of MIT focuses on REMIT policy matters, market data reporting, market data analysis and market data management, in close coordination with representatives of the National Regulatory Authorities.

The aim of the internship is to gain valuable work experience in European Union (EU) affairs, energy, and environmental issues. Main tasks: - Conducting comparative research on EU and Member State policies and regulation in the energy sector; - Monitoring the latest European news/activities related to EU energy, research and innovation (R&I), climate change, and environment policies; - Supporting the EASE policy team in the drafting of position papers, press releases, and presentations; - Preparing for and participating in conferences, workshops, and networking events gathering key EU policymakers and stakeholders; - Assisting with internal committee meetings and teleconferences; - Supporting the organisation of EASE Task Forces and Working Groups; - Supporting the EASE team in its day-to-day operations;

- Coordination and management of the search team - Development and implementation of research activities - Care of relations with institutions, professionals and third parties to collect information - Editing articles, analysis and research - Correction and control activities

• Writing articles, policy briefings, new legislation briefings under the supervision of the Policy Manager • Attending and reporting on meetings at the European institutions, organisations and other relevant internal and external events; • Monitor policy developments in related fields; • Ad hoc research assignments on different EU digital topics

Through the project portal "Romaltruista" I have occasionally carried out volunteer activities, including: - Support for teaching Italian to foreigners - Assistance to the elderly in the use of technological devices - Environmental volunteering

The three-year degree course saw the acquisition of the knowledge and skills indispensable for understanding and analysing the current economic system. Moreover, thanks to the choice of the curriculum in Economics and Management I assimilated the notions of the subjects relevant to business management and organization. Thanks to the University of Rome Tor Vergata I was able to get in touch with professors of immense professional expertise. My passion for issues related to environmental economics and sustainability led me to conclude my three-year course of study with a final thesis on Green Finance with the title: "Sustainable Finance: necessity and solutions".
