• Designed and implemented a bead conjugation workflow generating ~100 variants, enabling a proof-of-concept for scalable γδ T-cell activation to Advanced Adicet’s CAR-T manufacturing platform. • Expressed, purified, and characterized antibodies/antigens, providing cross-functional support for CAR T cell armoring development and IND-enabling assay development. • Formulated a comparator study to differentiate Adicet’s lead PSMA receptor from other clinical PSMA binders, including designing variants of antibodies, CAR and T cell engager variants for analysis.

• Achieved >$1M annual savings by building process for in-house production of DNA transposase, generating robust methods for purification, activity normalization, and workflow integration. • Designed and automated a set of QC assays capable of detecting failed conjugations for a panel of nearly 200 antibodies and oligonucleotides, maintaining data consistency for a high-resolution, multi-omic immune cell profiling platform. • Developed a scalable differential scanning fluorimetry (DSF) based process to detect protein–small molecule interactions for validation of AI-driven small molecule discovery.

• Co-developed a research grade antigen and antibody fragment production platform used to generate and characterize nearly 150 proteins for nanoparticle conjugation and bio-sensor development. • Developed and automated a process for chromatographic extracellular vesicle purification used to process over 1000 serum samples and capable of yielding biomarker candidates. • Built BLI based assays to detect 3 common serum protein contaminants in purified EV samples with quantitation limits < 1 ug/mL in ~20% of the processing time of required for ELISA.

• Fulfilled customer orders by performing transient transfection, purification, and characterization of recombinant antibodies and proteins, and oversaw intricate collaborative projects. • Demonstrated a method to purify low pH-sensitive antibody clones by cation exchange chromatography, resulting in >95% purity after two processing steps. • Led the development of a native target protein purification process, successfully delivering active protein to the client for downstream applications.

• Prepared up to 240 L of cell culture supernatant weekly for purification processing, supplying hundreds of protease variants for screening as part of a four-person bioproduction team. • Identified media supplements that boosted cell viability and protein titers by up to 100% by applying insights from a flow cytometry based cell fitness analysis. • Closely managed vendor relationships to guarantee bioprocessing consumable availability and regular equipment maintenance.

As a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Protein Chemistry, my primary interest was searching for the biological function of orphan cell surface receptors, that is receptors with no known binding partners or activity. This work, led to the discovery of a novel binding between insulin growth factor like (IGFL) proteins and a putative TNFR family member (IGFLR1), which were found to be regulated during skin inflammation and psoriasis.
