• Led the implementation of a strategic sourcing methodology throughout all subsidiaries and ensured standardization of procurement areas involving the creation of synergies between spend bases and processes. - Initiated cost containment efforts that generated savings in raw materials, packaging, logistics, and general services totaling $44.9 million in 2019, $57.9 million in 2018, and $16.7 million in 2017. These amounts represent 5 – 10% of the spend base. • Managed the implementation and sustainability of the firm’s most important savings program throughout Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, and the aquaculture business in Ecuador and Peru - Designed and implemented a PMO for generating and monitoring savings projects through negotiations and changes in product specifications and processes. - Administered +150 savings initiatives yearly. • Led due diligence and integration of supply chain processes for all new mergers and acquisitions. Selected to join the firm’s SWAT team: an on-demand cross-functional group of leaders in charge of problem-solving and synergy creation. Participated in the close and integration of two +$400 million deals in the last two years.

• Generated and deployed strategies and governance model for change management program striving to turn the firm into an efficient growth entity through cultural change leading to a better adoption of new governance framework. • Collaborated on the definition of long-term objectives, goals, strategies, metrics and vision for full corporation in 2016. • Improvement of operating profit margin in 1% over 2016 and 2% improvement projection for next 2 years. • Led a Supply Chain integral diagnostic, working with McKinsey consultants, where a $40 million efficiency opportunity was identified and a 3-year capture plan was designed applying Lean Methodology, TCO & Strategic Sourcing, etc.

• Responsible for the timely forecast and supply of finished products for several vegetable oils and groceries categories: involving effective production planning and coordination with cross functional teams. • Supervised launch of new products and implementation of cold distribution chain from warehouses to large and small retailers. • Won best industrial planner prize in 2016. • Minimized write off /waste cost risk by over $350k over the course of 4 months by developing mix commercial and logistics tactics to reduce stock. • Reduced inventory level in 19% on average from 2014 to 2015 equivalent to $550k less stock of finished goods on average. • Improved service level item Fill Rate from 94% to 96% equivalent to an increase of $300 million timely and properly served

On 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in MIT's Center for Transportation and Logistics' Supply Chain Bootcamp. It was an intense but exciting week full of activities to challenge our knowledge in Supply Chain. From conversations with leaders from Wayfair, Ahold Delhaize, Walmart, Converse and UberFreight to in depth classes discussing topics like Machine Learning, Data Visualization, E-Commerce and Omnichannel Revolution, S&OP Challenges, Sustainability and Procurement, etc. Also, hands on activities and simulations to apply concepts learned and soft skills development. All I can say is that is a one of a kind experience that I recommend to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and share with other Supply Chain professionals from all over the world. It is an exciting time to be in SCM !
