Adriana Filipa Lopes Cardoso

I'm a Market Access Specialist at INFARMED, I.P., where I work on reimbursement processes and health technology assessments for a range of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. With a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences, I specialize in regulatory affairs, HTA, and the intersection of science and policy. I'm passionate about science communication and currently lecture at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, NOVA Medical School, and Universidade de Évora, focusing on market access, regulatory topics, and the future of healthcare systems. In 2025, I authored the first book in Portugal about the Medical Science Liaison role, reflecting my dedication to bridging clinical science with real-world application. Outside of healthcare, I’m a resident political analyst at Sic Notícias and Expresso and a co-host of Lei da Paridade—Portugal’s first political podcast made entirely by women under 25. I also co-founded Próxima Geração, a non-partisan political academy empowering youth voices in policy.
