Acting Discovery Manager for Central Andes (6 months) • Lead porphyry copper greenfield exploration activities for Central Andes. In collaboration with the team: • Advanced key permitting for drill-ready targets in Perú prospects • Completed porphyry copper potential evaluation and prospect prioritization for covered areas in the Eocene - early Oligocene belt of northern Chile • Supervised team´s successful execution of safe, combined RC-DDH drilling program in Chile • Kept exploration costs on budget • Negotiated several third-party NDAs

Acting Discovery Manager (Chile and Argentina) 3 months • Lead porphyry copper generative and greenfield exploration programs in the Miocene belt of Argentina. Accomplished identification and staking of prospective free land in Salta (still under granting process due to government delays) • Evaluated several third-party porphyry copper and HS opportunities in the Miocene of San Juan, Salta, and Catamarca provinces • Achieved health, safety, environment and community goals (SHEC Standards) • Kept on budget exploration costs through monitoring of all exploration activities and contractors. • Optimized data collection, integration, and user-distribution for easier and faster interpretation. We enabled this through the implementation of AmigoCollect, and the development of a dynamic workflow, which linked the data collection procedure to a cloud-based geodatabase, allowing the team to improve the delivery of results.

Reported directly to the manager and took acting responsibilities during several 2-week periods • Worked together with a team of 6 geologists exploring in the Deseado Massif exploring for LS and IS epithermal systems. Responsibilities included target generation at several prospects, supervision of drilling activities in both greenfields and near-mine environments, including ore-control • Planned, executed, and managed exploration, delineation, and infill drilling programs. Accomplished +30,000 meters drilled without LTIs (RC and diamond drilling) • Supervised fieldwork sampling procedures and exploration practices ensuring rigorous QA/QC • Trained geologists and assistants and supervised an in-house ground mag survey • Managed and maintained good standing of all Mining Property (over 200,000 ha), acquiring environmental and other related permits • Conducted Government relations in Santa Cruz province

• Executed porphyry copper potential evaluation (reconnaissance) in San Juan and Catamarca provinces, and southern Chile • Conducted government and community relations, including the delivery of community-oriented mining workshops and design of media-related mining information for the general public (La Rioja province) • Supported generative and district-scale work through supervision of GIS, QAQC, and database management for projects in Argentina, Mexico, and Canada • Supervised a regional stream sediment program in Guerrero State, Mexico

After a few months in charge of the EPD mining area, I got a promotion to Mining Director of the Province. My main responsibilities included support, development and strategic planning of the province mining activity (metalliferous and non-metalliferous). During this period, I was in charge of 40 employees including staff and contractors. • Approval of San Jorge Project Environmental Impact Certificate (DIA) • In charge of fiscalization of non-metalliferous extractive activities • Granting of mining titles and exploitation concessions • Environmental controls and Mining Police Direction • COFEMIN Member (Consejo Federal Minero), Mendoza Province representation

In-depth evaluation of the Advanced Potash Project (Potasio Rio Colorado). Accomplished, along with the appointed multi-disciplinary commission, the granting of the Construction and Production permit for the project (Environmental Impact Certificate, DIA) • In charge of the evaluation, inspection, and environmental control of Mendoza mining activity • Developed and implemented an efficient Mining Police program

• Coal exploration in the Claromeco Basin, Bs As province. In charge of diamond drilling campaigns. • In charge of regional evaluation and assessment of the Uranium deposits potential in Argentina. Focused on sandstone-hosted uranium deposits. Third-party opportunities evaluation. This work resulted in Rio staking properties in Neuquén and La Rioja provinces.

• Collaborated with the exploration team at the Calcatreu LS epithermal deposit • Delivered target definition and infill drilling campaigns, including surface mapping, and logging • Applied hyperspectral techniques to the least explored areas, which aided in the generation of new exploration targets

• Supported the porphyry copper exploration programs at both generative and prospect scales, by compilation and organization of porphyry and epithermal mineral occurrences database for Argentina, Chile Bolivia and Uruguay

Post-graduate student. Thesis Title Geology and Mineralization of the Esquel Area, Patagonia Argentina Successfully completed a Master’s Thesis through a Fulbright-YPF scholarship under the supervision of M. Hitzman and J. Hedenquist. My research work dealt with the genesis, geochemistry, and fluid evolution of Esquel, a world-class LS epithermal deposit located in western Patagonia. For the thesis work, I mapped and interpreted the geologic model, logging in excess of 20k meters of core (extensional Jurassic bimodal volcanic suites) and applied lithogeochemistry, petrography, and other specific techniques and tools. These included fluid inclusions study (supervised by Jim Reynolds), SEM sample scanning, X-ray diffraction (sample prep, irradiation, and interpretation), cathode-luminescence, oxygen and sulfur stable isotopes, bitumen isolation, and measurement at USGS (Mike Lewan) and Ar/Ar dating.
